Little by little dropping down a gentle path, we enter a straggle of dwarf pine. We’re greeted by a pungent fragrance that reminds us with the cleanliness of this fantastic habitat. The afternoon Sunshine is gaining toughness and it’s a great time for us to enter the cool loaminess of the lessen forest. We follow the edge of a cascading glacier-fed creek – its frostiness refreshes the air all over us.
Heat Solar along with the Scent of Hay
We clatter across an historic picket bridge – its area nicely worn by generations of cows becoming driven to Alpine meadows. During the reduced pastures, area farmers are harvesting the hay with big wood rakes. A comforting, Sunshine-rich smell of dried grasses greets us.
Off for the Konditorei
